About the role:
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to serve as the bridge between Product Development and Marketing Execution at Embark. This role is critical in translating technical capabilities and product innovation into compelling narratives that resonate with our customers. As a PMM, you will develop and execute positioning, messaging, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies that ensure Embark’s products reach their full potential in the market.
This role requires a deep understanding of customer insights, competitive dynamics, and cross-functional collaboration to drive product adoption, engagement, and long-term loyalty. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Product Marketing the PMM will work closely with the Marketing, Product, Science, and Business Development teams to ensure seamless alignment and impactful product launches.
What you’ll do:
Product Positioning & Messaging
- Develop compelling, customer-centric messaging that clearly communicates the value and differentiation of Embark’s products.
- Partner with Product, Science, and Marketing teams to translate complex genetic concepts into digestible and impactful narratives for various audiences (pet owners, breeders, veterinarians, etc.).
- Ensure consistency and clarity of product messaging across all touchpoints, including website, campaigns, customer communications, and sales enablement materials.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution
- Define and execute GTM strategies for new product launches and feature updates, ensuring seamless collaboration between Marketing and Product
- Develop product marketing strategy for new product launches including positioning, audience segmentation, pricing, and channel strategy
- Lead and launch integrated marketing planning and execution across paid marketing, email, CS, retail channels and website
- Create standardized templates and frameworks for GTM processes to ensure consistent execution and improve efficiency across future launches.
Customer & Market Insights
- Conduct competitive analysis, customer research, and win/loss reviews to influence product roadmaps and marketing strategies.
- Establish and maintain continuous feedback loops between marketing execution and product development to improve future product iterations.
Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Partner with Product Manager to define and track key metrics related to product adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
- Measure the effectiveness of messaging and positioning through customer feedback, campaign performance, and in-market data.
- Drive experimentation across the customer journey to optimize messaging, product offerings, and marketing effectiveness.
Experience we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Brand Strategy, or Growth Marketing, preferably within consumer technology, health tech, pet care, or genetics industries.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling narratives.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful GTM strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize customer insights, market trends, and business data into actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration, particularly between Product and Marketing teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary: $135k - 155k
